Sołonka (Solanka) - a village in Poland located in the Podkarpackie Province, Rzeszów County, in the Lubenia commune. The remains of a salt mine have been discovered here. It is believed that the water from Sołonka was already used in the pre-Slavic times. It was certainly used in the Middle Ages. In the Middle Ages, a trade route from Hungary towards Sandomierz ran here. This trail was called the royal route. In the Roman period, the amber routes led here (4th – 5th century AD). In the years 2009-2010 a brine cascade was built.
